Refund and Exchange Policy
Advanced Wireless Solutions, LLC (AWS) has made every effort to provide the information needed to
successfully operate your Backup-Pal ® unit as simply and easily
as possible. Should our efforts have fallen short, answers to
frequently asked questions may be found at http://www.backup-pal.com/support;
quick support may be found at support@backup-pal.com. Should you
not have access to these resources, please feel free to call

Important Legal Notice: Due to the unique nature of the service provided, any returned Backup-Pal®
units will undergo a full diagnostic screening. By returning merchandise, you agree to transfer
ownership of the original merchandise to AWS and forfeit any privacy or proprietary claims or rights
to any information contained within the device. At no time shall you hold AWS or its affiliates
liable for loss of any information.
All returns of Backup-Pal® units for Exchange or Refund must be made within 33 DAYS from the
date of purchase and must have a valid RMA number assigned by an authorized agent of Advanced
Wireless Solutions, LLC. Any returns without a valid RMA number clearly marked on the outside
of the shipping package will have delivery refused. All shipments to AWS must have shipping
charges covered by the consumer; any returns to AWS without shipping charges prepaid by the
consumer will have delivery refused.
IMPORTANT: Please read the sections below for proper Refund and Exchange guidelines.
Within 33 Days:
To return merchandise for Refund:
No Shipping or Handling charges will be refunded
Opened merchandise will incur 25% restocking fee
Obtain a valid RMA number
All shipments to AWS must be covered by consumer
Refunds will be processed within in 10 business days
To return merchandise for Exchange:
All opened merchandise must be approved by tech support before returning
Obtain a valid RMA number
All shipments to AWS must be covered by consumer
Shipments from AWS to consumer will be covered by AWS
After 33 Days:
Should you experience a problem with your Backup-pal® after 33
days, please refer to your product's manufacturer warranty document for remedies available to you.
Packing and Shipping Instructions for Returns
To be valid for return, all shipping containers to AWS must include:
Valid RMA number clearly marked on the outside of the shipping container
Valid RMA number included on a piece of paper inside the shipping container
Original proof of purchase
Original Merchandise including original packaging, documentation and accessories
All shipments to AWS must be covered by consumer
All returns and exchanges must have an RMA number clearly marked on the outside of the shipping
container as well as on a piece of paper inside the shipping container that includes your contact
and order information. All shipments to AWS must have shipping charges covered by the consumer;
any returns to AWS without shipping charges prepaid by the consumer will have delivery refused.
